Biography
Jota Wagner is the artist behind Lunatic Jazz Records and Colors Sound System, a music production project that came from seminal Sao Paulo underground house party Colors, created by Jota in the early beginning of the century.
His music has been reaching very positive feedbacks and support by top house music tastemakers like Mark Farina, Dubfire, Andy Cato (Groove Armada), Dj Heather and Q-Burns Abstract Message, to name a few. Jota has currently releasing his music (solo or signing as Colors Sound System) on respect labels Candy Dealers, EIGHT-TRACKS (his first EP on the label is confirmed to april/2010), Conya Records, Beatcode and his own Lunatic Jazz Records. As DJ, Jota Wagner is a key character in brazilian underground house scene due his solid 14 years career and his Colors night residence night at top clubs like Vegas and D-Edge in Sao Paulo. Jota has been requested to show his unique groove from north to south of his continental home country.. Since 2007, the DJ has been touring Europe to DJ shows in England, Spain and Portugal. Managing Lunatic Jazz Records, Jota has been working since 2007 to build up a solid reputation on the label releasing beloved EPs by artists like Asad Rizvi, Funky Transport, Mike Frugaletti, Anhanguera, C-Soul and Joe Silva. |
